Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Identify risk
   • Power generation plant maintenance and operational procedures are obtained, in accordance with workplace procedures
   • Power generation plant operating and maintenance history is obtained, in accordance with workplace procedures, including incident and failure reports
   • Work, Health and Safety (WHS)/Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and environmental standards are researched and applied, in accordance with workplace procedures
   • Power generation plant technical documentation is obtained, in accordance with workplace procedures
   • Risk analysis objectives for power generation plant are defined, in accordance with workplace procedures
2. Conduct analysis
   • Risk analysis is completed using approved methodology, in accordance with workplace procedures
   • Power generation plant incident scenarios are identified and consequences are analysed and prioritised for risk, in accordance with workplace procedures
   • Objectives identified during risk analysis for power generation plant risk scenarios are recorded, in accordance with workplace procedures
3. Power generation plant operating and maintenance history is obtained, in accordance with workplace procedures, including incident and failure reports
4. Work, Health and Safety (WHS)/Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and environmental standards are researched and applied, in accordance with workplace procedures
5. Power generation plant technical documentation is obtained, in accordance with workplace procedures
6. Risk analysis objectives for power generation plant are defined, in accordance with workplace procedures
   • Risk analysis is completed using approved methodology, in accordance with workplace procedures
7. Power generation plant incident scenarios are identified and consequences are analysed and prioritised for risk, in accordance with workplace procedures
8. Objectives identified during risk analysis for power generation plant risk scenarios are recorded, in accordance with workplace procedures
9. Produce, implementandmonitor recommendations
   • Recommendations for risk preventative actions are produced against each power generation plant risk scenario, as appropriate, in accordance with workplace procedures
10. Implementation of recommendations for risk controls are monitored, in accordance with workplace procedures
11. Complete documentation
    • Risk analysis recommendations are documented, in accordance with workplace procedures
12. Risk analysis report is produced and submitted, in accordance with workplace procedures
